In January we announced that a number of items from our Collections had to be sent away for vital conservation work, and therefore were not available to researchers.
We are delighted to announce that all the items have now returned from the Conservator and are once again available for consultation in our search room. The items in question are:
- From the Iris Murdoch Oxford Library- Crowds and Power by Elias Canetti with Iris Murdoch’s annotations- reference number IML 1120, and The Poems of Ryokan by Ryokan- reference number IML 764
- From the David Heneker Archive- first version script of Irma la Douche, early script for Charlie Girl, musical score for And the Word is Love
