Academic Development Centre

The Academic Development Centre (ADC) provides a strategic lead and vision on learning, teaching and assessment particularly through the development and strategic implementation of the University’s LTA Strategy.  The ADC leads on the development of academic policy and strategy for educational technology infrastructure including its academic implementation and embedding; the development and strategic implementation of the University’s widening participation strategic assessment and policy and strategy for work based learning. The Centre also offers the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education which is a requirement for staff with fewer than three years teaching experience or who do not already hold a teaching qualification.
